Linda received the award from Central Committee Chair John Cramer on September 4, 2004.

Linda Powell, of Seely Township, was named the 2004 Guthrie County Democrat of the Year. Linda is a school teacher for Guthrie Center. She has been very active on the Guthrie County Democratic Central Committee and has organized their County Fair booth for many years. Linda has run for public office herself and has helped with other campaigns.
